1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to co:sim, operated by Comsand Inc., a Delaware corporation with its registered office at 800 N King Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, United States (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "the Company"). By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Language and Interpretation
These Terms of Service, along with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy, are provided in English as the authoritative version. Any translations of these legal documents into other languages are provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, inconsistency, or ambiguity between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail and govern.
3. Service Description
co:sim provides two main eSIM services:
Global Prepaid
- Upcoming worldwide data eSIM for 200+ destinations
- Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) data billing or optional data packages
- Persistent prepaid balance
- No monthly or maintenance fees
- No current phone number, SMS, or traditional voice product
Data Only
- Fixed data packages for specific destinations
- Data-only service, no voice/SMS
- Daily data or total data plans
- Some destinations support reloadable eSIMs
4. User Responsibilities
When using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete personal information
- Ensure your device supports eSIM and is unlocked (see our Supported Devices)
- Not use the service for any illegal purposes
- Not resell or transfer your purchased eSIM
- Comply with laws and regulations of destination countries
- Safeguard your account information and balance
5. Purchase & Payment
All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). We accept the following payment methods:
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB, Unionpay)
- Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Global Prepaid balance (for purchasing Data Only plans)
After successful payment, you will receive an email containing your eSIM QR code. All transactions are processed through secure third-party payment processors.
6. Validity & Data
Data Only Plans
The validity period starts when you first connect to a network at your destination. Data calculation depends on your plan type (daily or total data). Service automatically stops when the validity period ends or data is depleted, whichever comes first.
Global Prepaid
Balance remains valid indefinitely as long as you use the service at least once every 12 months. Data packages have their own validity periods - check details when purchasing.
7. Service Limitations
- Data Only eSIMs provide data connectivity only, excluding voice calls and SMS
- Current Global Prepaid does not include a phone number, SMS, or traditional voice calls
- Network speed and coverage depend on local carrier conditions; we cannot guarantee specific speeds or 100% coverage
- eSIMs can typically only be installed once; reinstallation may not be possible after deletion
- Some countries/regions may have special usage restrictions
8. Refund Policy
Uninstalled eSIMs can be refunded unconditionally within 30 days of purchase. Once installed on your device, eSIMs cannot be refunded unless there is a technical issue on our side. See our Refund Policy for details.
Each Data-Only eSIM plan has a pre-installation validity window. You must install (scan) the eSIM before this deadline or the profile expires permanently. An eSIM that has expired without being installed is not eligible for a refund. See Refund Policy §10 — eSIM Pre-Installation Validity for full details.
9. Account Security
You are responsible for protecting your account security, including:
- Using a secure email address
- Not sharing your login credentials
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Being responsible for all activities under your account
10. Disclaimer
This service is provided "as is." We are not liable for:
- Service unavailability due to device incompatibility
- Local carrier network outages or speed issues
- eSIM damage or loss due to user error
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
11. Terms Modification
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Modified terms will be published on our website, and continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Significant changes will be notified via email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, United States.
